Week #4 Update, Results & Schedule
Week three results are in, with three wins from eight close games and five fixtures still to come.
Week three is in the books, and it was a week full of close, hard-fought games. Eight games, three wins, and three more that went down to a handful of points. Thank you once again to everyone who came out to support — home and away, your backing makes a real difference to our players, and we want more of it this week.
Training is on as normal. If you need a reminder about your session, check in with your coach.
Week 3 results
A week of fine margins. The U11s won their opening game, and the U16 Hustlers and U14 Blacks both won by a single point. The U18 Blacks, U16 Blacks and U16 Whites all lost by six points or fewer, so there is very little between our teams and the opposition, and plenty to build on.

The U16 Hustlers bounced back in style on Wednesday night, edging Shoreham Spartans Red 41 – 40 at St Andrew's — a brilliant response after a tough week two. On Friday, the U11s got their season under way with a 47 – 40 home win over Hastings Tigers, and the all-Worthing U14 derby could hardly have been closer, with the U14 Blacks just getting past the U14 Whites 74 – 73. Well played to both teams. On the road, the U18 Blacks (67 – 72 at Horsham), the U16 Whites (62 – 66 at Haywards Heath) and the U16 Blacks (71 – 77 at Eastbourne) were all right in their games and will be looking to turn those close ones around. The Mens White and Mens Hustlers came up against strong sides on Monday and will be keen to bounce back.
Week 4 schedule
Five games this week, including two home games — please note our home games this week are at St Oscar Romero Catholic School in Goring-by-Sea, not St Andrew's. Come and support the teams if you can — we are one big community, and a full sideline is one of the best parts of being a club. If you can't make the home games, a few familiar faces at the away games always go a long way.

Please keep your support positive and encouraging. Cheer the good plays, lift the players up when the game gets tough, and keep them going no matter the score. We ask that everyone stays respectful to the table officials, the referees, the opposition, and our own players and coaches.
See you at the games. Let's turn those close ones into wins in week four!
